Miss Teen International

Although Alexandra never met Josh, like so many of us, she was moved by his memory and what that memory could do through Josh Cares. As Miss Teen International she will travel around the globe promoting Josh Cares. "I know this will be an exciting year for me, but it will be more exciting once I know I've been able to be a small part of spreading such a wonderful cause to people that might not have gotten the chance to be exposed to it. I am using this title as a conduit to make it happen. I am fortunate and honored to be the teen spokesperson for such an incredible organization and I hope Josh is just smiling about the whole thing from above". Alexandra thought back to her time in a hospital. She remembered the scary feeling of not knowing what was about to happen next. She remembered seeing lots of activity with many doctors and nurses. "I was fortunate to have my mom by my side holding my hand, but for a moment, I pictured going through all that alone......and at that moment is when I knew I wanted to be a part of Josh Cares.” Alexandra has done countless appearances speaking about Josh Cares and the need for children to have someone by their side during their hospitalization when family is not available. She will be organizing a walk-a-thon for Josh Cares in October. On August 1st Alexandra won the title of Miss Teen International.
