What is the Junior Board?
The Junior Board is a dynamic group of volunteers whose purpose is to ignite excitement throughout the community by identifying, exploring and establishing new partnerships to raise awareness and support for Josh Cares.
What does the Junior Board do?
The Junior Board recruits members annually in the fall to commit for a minimum one year term. Overseen by an Executive Committee, there are opportunities for volunteers to get involved on one of the following committees: Communications & Public Relations, Events, Relationship Development, and Membership/Social.
The signature event of the Jr.B is Food Truckin’ for Josh Cares, Fountain Square’s premier food truck festival which takes place each summer over a weekday lunch hour. This event raises considerable awareness, putting Josh Cares in the spotlight through a comprehensive PR and marketing campaign and full-capacity crowd during the event, while raising significant funds for the program.
When does the Junior Board meet?
Meetings are held year round on the first or second Monday of the month from 6-7:30PM with occasional additional meetings for task and sub-committees.
